Entries are invited for the Classes defined elsewhere on
this website. Competitors will be judges on the Class
for which their entry has been accepted and the
Committee will not be responsible should
any person or club enter the wrong Class. No entry
can compete in more than one Class. No
live animals except guide dogs are permitted |

02.
Competitors in the Juvenile Classes must be under 16 years
old on the day of the Carnival, but adult assistance
with costume is permitted.

03.
All Floats must be in position in the assembly area by
17:30hrs and all personnel walking entries by 18:30hrs. |

04.
All judging will take place on the route between the
starting and finishing points specified
in you assembly instructions.

05.
Competitors must comply with the Class definitions and must
complete the route to qualify
for prize or appearance monies. Any entry which
finds it necessary to stop on route to
carry out repairs will be deemed to have withdrawn from the
procession.

06.
All entries take part at their own risk. The Committee does
not hold itself liable for any expense, damage loss or
injury claim which any competitor may incur or sustain in
connection with the Carnival. Competitors should make
their own insurance arrangements to protect themselves. The Carnival Committee is
insured for public liability, which covers claims arising
from actions for which
the Committee or its agents may be held responsible

All Mounted Entries must conform to the WORKING
GUIDE TO THE MANAGEMENT OF CARNIVAL VEHICLES

08.
All vehicles must be insured in compliance with the Road
Traffic Acts, and
clubs should be insured for public liability.
